forgot to file texas Sub Chapter S corporate extension

I have a client. I filed his federal corporate extension but it looks like I forgot to file his Texas franchise tax extension. Federal Extension was accepted by IRS. do I have any defense for non filing of Texas Franchise tax extension or do I have to pay penalty in this case.

Prep. Texas franchise tax extension...........Date it the same as, federal corporate extension................

When you send completed, Texas franchise tax return in...........attach copy of-federal corporate extension, and Texas franchise tax extension.

This may smooth it out, for we know, not all the mail gets to where it should go to..........
