Procedure for reporting carporate name change to IRS

I have a client he has changed his corporate name prior to doing any business. It is a Maryland domestic corporation. He has Article of amendment showing corporate name change. How do I report this name change to IRS because his existing EIN letter that he got from IRS has old corporate name.

Also typically how long it takes IRS to process this type of change.
