SFA Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) I just went to send my donation to Eric and to support his work on the community, but need reassurance that the credit card payment feature is secure. I don't have a paypal account and don't feel like writing a check. Just need to understand that my credit card details are secure or encrypted in some way. ooops see a typo in the topic. Moderator--can you fix please? Edited April 16, 2015 by SFA Quote
Pacun Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 I always use my credit card and I have not had any issues. But I am sure you will get an official answer. Quote
jklcpa Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 By doing that, you're still using paypal and have the protections that it offers, you just don't have an account with them. Quote
kcjenkins Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 Yes, it's totally safe. And thanks for bringing it up, I'm sure you are not the only one who wants to thank Eric, and keep this board going. Quote
Yardley CPA Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 Yup...I just sent my small token to Eric and I appreciate all that he does and his ability to keep this forum running smoothly, efficiently and with a very "current" feel! 3 Quote
Pacun Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 I remember last year (I think November) while we were enjoying our wine or soft drinks, this site was down for a short period of time and Eric was working hard to bring it up. I said to myself, if anyone deserves a token of appreciation is Eric. Of course November and December are semi dead for us (income wise) so I said to myself that I was going to donate something during tax session and I did. I hope everybody donates even if only a couple of thousands each. I am just kidding. Every penny counts. 4 Quote
