MS 80-205 red error / can't create e-file

OK, I really think I've entered everything I need to in Preparer Manager, including my e-mail address. I even shut down the program and reopened. Still I get this error when I try to create MS 80-205 e-file, and I notice that my e-mail does NOT show up on the MS E-File Info:

"Per Mississippi valid paid preparer name, ID number, phone number, address, and e-mail address must all be entered into the preparer manager in order to transmit the return electronically."

Anybody able to straighten me out?

I've seen others mention that same error number when withholding was missing from the W-2G for MS gambling activity.  I think it's weird that the same error code is used for a variety of different pieces of missing information.  Can you override the MS e-file info form within the return itself to include your email, if that is what the problem is?

No, Judy, that's the first thing I tried. I'm just gonna have them paper file MS and get it outta here. Thanks for trying!

Have you tried placing curser in the filed and then from menu, try restore field. Which will remove your email from the field. Then save and retype the email address. hope this works.

Well - I guess you must have been too hard on it and it does not WANT to work for you.

 

No experience with MS, so I can't help you.
