updated form versions

Is there a way to update form versions within a return? Georgia finally adopted depreciation rules but I have to manually change amounts in fixed assets global setting. I though there used to be a way to update specific forms. Is that a thing of the past?

The only way I know is to delete the form an re-add it.

The program is supposed to update to the latest version when you open the return.  If your program is not doing that, a call to tech support is in order.  There is a folder that should be deleted and then the program will re-create it.  Problem will go away.  I just do not remember where that folder is.

Under the Return Manager check the box for your client:

 

1.  In the Tool Bar click the support button

 

2.  About 2/3 of the way down the drop down list select  "Customer Service Utilities"

 

3.  Click on the last choice in the next drop down list, "Re-download Forms on Marked Returns"
