AnnieR Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I know I mentioned this before, but the 11 year old boy turned out to be an 11 year old girl. She is active in 4-H and her group sponsored a benefit dinner. This was held on a weekend at the local school. I don't know how Ohio State University figures into all this (that's who issued the 1099), but at the end of the dinner, when the "grown-ups" were figuring up the funds, they asked one of the mothers for her daughter's SS number so they could issue the check to the 4-H club. Clear as mud, right? Anyway, that's how over $900 is on a 1099Misc, box 7 in a little girl's name...now how the heck do I get rid of it? AnnieR Quote
Alpha Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 And mom gave the ID without finding out why. I would contact the school and have them change it to a donation to the 4H club Quote
