FreedomTaxed Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Our efiler is suddenly seeing this rejection message, as he started efiling this morning. It's happened three times on three different filings: If Form 2210, Part II, Line A checkbox 'WaiverOfEntirePenaltyInd' is checked, then [WaiverExplanationStatement] must be attached to Form 2210. ? Pacun Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Uncheck the box, recreate the efile and re-transmit. Are those people getting a refund from the IRS? Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Same problem here. Uncheck the box, retransmit. Quote
Tax Prep by Deb Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Refund, left over form, simple solution delete! Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 The program has been checking that box when the form is added. I have started deleting when there is a refund, and unchecking the box the rest of the time. This is something new in the past 2 weeks. Probably one of those form updates. Everyone should send a complaint to [email protected]. Quote
joanmcq Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 Yes, it's been driving me batshit. But I find them before I create the efile; a warning shows up during error check. Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 I just changed the master form. Quote
TAXMAN Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 What is weird is none of those boxes are checked on the file I see somehow when you close a return and open it back up the x magically appears????. Supposedly if the 2210 is not needed it will not be efiled. Somehow 2 of mine went through and promptly rejected. Fix and resend ok??? Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 Hah! Late forms download shows for 2210, "Page 1 Part II check box A corrected to prevent efile rejection."Maybe now replace the form and resend. Quote
TAXMAN Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 ATX just put down a correction to this problem. Quote
