PPR RETURNS

Does any one know what they are charging this year for PPR?

 

I just found out I have to file a NC part year resident return for someone.

It cost around $499 which includes $300 for returns and $199 license fee.

I am currently a 1040 Office client of ATX and had the need to purchase a 1065 return.  I used their PPR and the business return cost me $35 (tha included the accompanying state business return.)  I believe personal returns PPR are $25 each.

I have the 1040 package and paid $35 each for one 1065 and one 1041.

 

Have you already used 3 different states as included in the 1040 package?

$25 per return.  I've already had to purchase several additional states

Should I feel ripped off?  Or maybe the states are cheaper than the 1041 / 1065?

Yes, the extra states are $25, the business returns are $35.

This is why I buy MAX.  Unlimited personal and business returns.

That would have been a better choice for me Jack...by the time I pay for extra states and e-files > 100 (both of which turned out to be more numerous than I expected), I could have paid for MAX with only a few dollars more.  I still may call and do just that.

It also includes payroll as well.  Best deal going.  Upgrading will save you money, and time.

Just upgraded to Office...Unfortunately, they would not give me credit for the $75 I already paid for additional states.  Guess I'll chalk that up to cost of lesson learned...Next year, buy Office from the start.
