neilbrink Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 I have a Samsung color toner printer that I have used for several years on my XP operating system - no problems using it with ATX in previous year. This year I updated to Windows 7, 64 bit. This year, I cannot get the ATX program to recognize this printer. I have a backup printer (Brother all-in-one) that works well this year. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. Quote
FreedomTaxed Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) Off the cuff, if Windows recognizes the printer, ATX should. Are you having any problems with Windows recognizing the printer? Can you print a test page from the printer control in "Devices and Printers"? Can other applications like Open Office print to the device just fine? Edited February 6, 2015 by FreedomTaxed Quote
ILLMAS Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Check for a printer driver update from Samsung first 2 Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Most likely, Samsung will not support WIN7 for that printer. Planned obsolescence. Quote
