ACS41 Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 We prepared a 3115 for a client. The client mailed the original signed form to Ogden. So far, so good. When e-filing the 1120S, the 3115 pdf did not attach to the return. Am not sure what to do. Am considering mailing the signed copy of the 3115 to the address a paper return would be sent with an explanation. Any thoughts? Thank you. Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 Send the paper one with the 8453 to the address for sending the 8453. 1 Quote
mli Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 I could be completely wrong, but I didn't think you could use form 8453 transmittal for an 1120S. If you look at it, you will see that it is only set up for individual taxpayers. On a related note, can anyone tell me: Would the PDF copy of Form 3115 attached to an e-filed return need to be signed?. OR will the 8879 (or 8879S) be sufficient for the signature, as if the form had been e-field and not attached as a PDF? Quote
