Pacun Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 I have noticed that you can efile even if you ignore ACA completely. The error message is yellow so efile will be possible. I wonder why they didn't make it red and force you to check or open form 8965. Quote
jklcpa Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 Dependents should not check the box or file 8965, but I suppose the error checking could be programmed to accommodate that scenario. Perhaps that is why it was left as a yellow cautionary warning that still allows e-filing. Quote
