Jack from Ohio Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 I remember hearing or reading about a State that implemented a new deduction or credit for 2014. I cannot remember and I cannot find any information about it? Anyone with a sharp memory remember?? Quote

Catherine Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Well, MA has some new tax credits too -- restrictions on which organization to give to, and minimum amount to give, but you get a 50% CREDIT on your state taxes for so doing. Quote
RitaB Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Only 48 states to go. I've been waiting patiently here all day... 2 Quote
Lion EA Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 CT doesn't have credits, well not much. They did add EIC a couple of years ago. Wish they had not. 3 Quote

jklcpa Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Nothing new for DE for 2014, so the count is down to 44, or less if we take out those states that don't have an income tax return to file. The better research programs should have a section that includes each state's instructions that generally include "What's New" that is a good place to start when handling those state returns we do infrequently. 1 Quote
