Can ony one recommend a reasonable priced after the fact payroll program that I will be able to e-file both the federal forms-941, 940 W-2, W-3, New york State NYS-45, NJ-927 etc.

I have a number of very small clients with employees ranging from 1 to 10 employees.

Clients give me at the end of the month/quarter gross payroll, fica and withholding, I then pay the taxes and file the returns.

There are a number of programs out there, but i am not aware of one that will efile the 94x forms for a reasonable price.

 

If someone else knows of one, I would also like to know.

Yes, the ATX Payroll Compliance program does the Efiling, but it doesn't generate payroll reports, keep track of overtime, vacation,

hours worked etc etc.

No mention of doing the actual payroll accounting and tracking.  Just filing the forms.  Unless I don't see it all??

CFS has an easy to use after-the-fact payroll program that is e-fileable.

I've used it for about 15 years now.

And their tech support is excellent.

Yeah , I forgot about CFS Tax Tools. I am going to download the demo software and try it out.

 

They are California based and have a good reputation on the West Coast.

I have been using Tax Tools for about 6 years now. Price is reasonable for all the things it can do. Plus if you set up the client base as you go all the stuff rolls over to next year.
