mdmcfarland Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 I have a client that lives in Kansas City, KS. She has a W-2 with income from both Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS. I cannot see where on the MO 1040 to check that she was a non-resident. Can anyone help me? Quote

mdmcfarland Posted February 13, 2008 Author Report Posted February 13, 2008 Thanks! I have filled that out. Now it keeps asking for county of residence and 3 digit school district. Since she is a non-resident, I left it blank but I keep getting an error. Quote

Maura Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Per MO instructions if Enter your county of residence and the number of the public school district in which you reside. See school district listing on pages 42 and 43. (If you are a nonresident, you should enter 347 for the school district number and “NONR” for the county. If you were a part-year resident, enter the Missouri school district number and county in which you last resided.) Quote
mdmcfarland Posted February 13, 2008 Author Report Posted February 13, 2008 Thanks! Now I can finish the return. Quote
