Eli Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Father claimed 20 year old non-student daughter. Father earned 13000+. Daughter earned 14000+. Daughter is a bank teller. A coworker told her to file her return and claim a nephew for EIC. She told the coworker that her father had already claimed her. Coworker says that as long as she files single with the nephew there won't be a problem. Don't you love this?? Eli Quote
Teri2414 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I do love these. Just like the phone call I just received wondering if a man can claim HOH for his girlfriend living with him all year. No one else - just the girlfriend. While some may try to justify this position I don't really think it's what was intended when the uniform definitions were created, IMHO. Quote
