joanmcq Posted June 30, 2014 Report Posted June 30, 2014 I know there's a lot of Ohioans in this forum! I've a client that just opened a cricket farm in Youngstown. I refuse to get involved in Ohio payroll tax in any way, shape or form, and they will be better off with a local person for accounting work anyways. They will need handholding. I got them when they were primarily working in CA, although the S-corp is out of Wisconsin. I'll warn you, they mucked up their payroll something fierce last year doing it themselves out of QB. Or not doing it, I haven't gotten a clear answer as to what was or was not filed & the last I heard they were straightening out the first 3 quarters with the IRS. I did the 4th & w2s. But they are nice kids with a vision. Quote
ILLMAS Posted June 30, 2014 Report Posted June 30, 2014 This a perfect opportunity for those that love playing Cricket or knows how the sport works. Quote
joanmcq Posted June 30, 2014 Author Report Posted June 30, 2014 Oh no, these are 'food grade crickets' as in the insect. Apparently they are a great source of protein. Quote

kcjenkins Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 I once ate a fried cricket, on a dare. Crunchy, slightly salty, sort of nutty. Not gross, but not something I'd choose, unless I was REALLY hungry. Quote
