David Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 I haven't been on the "official" ATX community board in a while. I tried going on several times today and couldn't get access. Has ATX discontinued that board? Quote
michaelmars Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 nope still there but I had to try some different ways to link to it and once I got in I saved it to a favorite which brings me right to the board bypassing the log in Quote
David Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 Thanks. Do you remember how you were able to access the board? Quote

Lee B Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I go to the ATX Board at least once every day and haven't had any problems other than it being slow to respond from time to time. If you haven't been there in a while, you may need to clear your browser history. Quote
TaxMan60601 Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I might be wrong, but wasn't there some password reset .... on every 90 days!? .... Quote
Lee B Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 Yes, but it prompts you to reset your password. Very annoying ! I think once a year before tax season starts would be adequate. 1 Quote

Totally agree. At least make it only every 180 days, so you get through the main season without the aggravation. Change it in Nov, when you get the new software, and you have to reset in the busiest time of the year. Quote
mcb39 Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 You don't have to enter your password to get onto the Community board if you have it saved in favorites. I haven't been there for months, but I have always been able to get on the board even when I had to change password for ATX site. Yes, changing passwords is inconvenient at best. Quote
michaelmars Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 I haven't changed in 2 years since I stopped using atx but still have access Quote
