In that pension simplified method section, a: how do I know what the death benefit exclusion is? b: whats the deal with the combined ages question c: what are they looking for for box 6 amounts previously recovered after 1986. This is the amount shown on line 10 of your worksheet for last year b: whats the deal with the combined ages question If the payments are for your life and that of your beneficiary, enter the appropriate number from Table 2 . c: what are they looking for for box 6 amounts previously recovered after 1986. Enter any amounts previously recovered tax free in years after 1986. This is the amount shown on line 10 of your worksheet for last year If this is a new retiree, a and c will be zero Quote
