wendybooth Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 I am having trouble with a 1065 ptr that has 12 ptrs. I can not get the part n to show up on the k1. I have done nothing different from last yr but can't for the life of me figure this out. I have everything imputed is there something I am missing??? Quote
lbbwest Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Go to the Special Allocation Worksheet within the K-1 Form (tab is at the bottem of your screen) and check the appropriate box. Good Luck!! lbb Quote
wendybooth Posted February 9, 2008 Author Report Posted February 9, 2008 i AM NOT THE BRIGHTEST BULB, so therefore you are going to have to walk me step by step. I have NEVER done anything with the special allocations. They just always printed as I put them in. I guess I need some help here. All I want is the capital analysis to print or show up on the form. Karen Lee Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Wendy, Open the 1065 click on K-1 click Global Options go to Printing Options on the Global Options page check boxes to print allocation and basis statements on form That should do it. Karen Quote
wendybooth Posted February 10, 2008 Author Report Posted February 10, 2008 NO THAT STILL DOES NOT DO IT. THE PART L IS STILL BLANK BUT IT DOES PRINT THE SUMMARY ON A SEPARATE SHEET. MAYBE i AM STILL MISSING SOMETHING??? Quote
kcjenkins Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 On the input sheet, does it show the items it should in the section for the L items? Could it possibly be that you did not check the box at the top of page 4? Just trying to think of reasons it might not have the info it needs to print that...... Quote
wendybooth Posted February 11, 2008 Author Report Posted February 11, 2008 That was exactly it I had not checked the box at the top of page 4. Michael mars helped me out this morning in about 5 min on the phone. Thanks Quote
