Pacun Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I updated and I have rolled over some returns and efiled. No problems at all. Quote
JMovichEA Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Anyone else? I'm working fine without any problems on the prior update. Quote
RitaB Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 No problems with software here. Just clients. Standalone, Windows 7 Pro. 8 Quote
Pacun Posted March 29, 2014 Author Report Posted March 29, 2014 No problems with software here. Just clients. Standalone, Windows 7 Pro. Same here and no problems with clients. I have noticed that the program looks for the default printer, so if you program doesn't open up, you could check the printer or change your default printer as a troubleshooting step. In my case, I had to kill the ATX13 process because my printer was off while my assistant was changing the toner. Quote
RitaB Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Same here and no problems with clients... I had to kill the ATX13 process... I might have to kill a couple of clients... 4 Quote
jasdlm Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I called in my IT guy and he installed using Jack's instructions. Everything is working well. 1 Quote
RitaB Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Went fine here on a standalone. Crank, your avatar over there. Are you available to kill some clients? Not sure if I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing, been a long day. My apologies if you're not into that line of work. Then again, you could get away with putting the income on line 21, I think. Quote
JohnH Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 I think he could get away with putting the income on line 21 if he only kills one or two, he hasn't killed any before or a regular basis, and he doesn't plan on killing any in the future. For me, that last part is definitely a problem... 4 Quote
RitaB Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Yep, the old "regular and continuous" problem. Sort of like these clients test us "repeatedly and horrifically". After this day, I think it would be worth it to just put Crank on payroll. 3 Quote

JohnH Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 You need to be careful how word things when you try to hire him. If you say you want somebody "smoked", you might get something other than the intended result. Right, Crank? 2 Quote
Lion EA Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Hey, RIta, would it be a usual and necessary business expense for you? Contract labor? Just thinking about whether I can deduct.... 7 Quote
