Phone voice says accepted, web says waiting for ack, pgm says transmitted

So how do I get the truth? I efiled this on Tuesday and have had others accepted in the meantime. I want to finish this with 9325 and letters accepted but no acks are coming down and I can't file the state until I get federal ack. Clues?

If you are using ATX, go to the MYATX website, choose e-file tab, then choose e-file status. Enter the SS# and a table will show all acknowledgments. To the right there will be a link marked "rehang" click once on each ack you need, wait about 10 minutes and receive acks in the program. They should flow in and populate the 9325 like you want.

I did that, Jack. That's what I meant when I said web says waiting for IRS ack. I can't ask to rehang something they say on the website they don't have. (I have had to do that in the past on rare occasion so knew that.) But when I called and followed the prompts, the voice said the status was accepted. So what to believe? The truth is out there somewhere, I just want to find it. Oh, IRS Where's my refund doesn't have it, either.

Yep, that's it, for sure! And I can't even resend because, well, it's been transmitted you see and, well, it's up to IRS. I did find out that the phone tree voice that said it was accepted (Option1) meant that it was accepted at ATX. Sigh...maybe by Monday. I just really want it off my list and outta here!

Update-accepted ack finally came in 3 days after transmission with the date of acceptance the same day as I transmitted it. Hmmm, some conspiracy out there messing with me, I guess. At least it is finally done and gone!
