Naveen Mohan from New York Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 The default setting is that if I type zero on a field, nothing is written on the field. ATX leaves the field blank even if I have typed zero in that field. How do I change setting to make sure that when I type zero on a field, zero actually appears on that field, instead of field being left blank. thanks for you help. Naveen Mohan Quote
kcjenkins Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 What line are you trying to put it on? Quote
mcb39 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 The only occasion that I can recall having to type a zero is on a 1099R or a W2 and it works there, even though my preference is to print without zeros. Printing with or without zeros is the only option that I know of. In my experience, if you type a zero or any other digit and it isn't supposed to be there, it will disappear. Quote
kcjenkins Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Yes, the software companies work with IRS on how forms should present, so if a zero disappears, it's normally how IRS wants it done. Quote
