Forms update...

I just did a forms update and 859 forms updated!!

Look out for lots of e-files to reject by EFC due to old forms!!

Remember the 'old days' when almost all the forms were set before the end of Oct, and the software only updated occasionally, and almost never to change more than a handful of forms?

jack...I could be wrong, again, but I have a feeling you are creating efiles out of order.

Strange, after I did the most recent program update on Friday, I did a forms update and 24 Forms updated on my system.

The difference might be if Jack's firm has all of the entity types or many more (or all of the) states installed vs. those that might have only the 1040 installed or have one (or only a few) states loaded.

I have MAX with all entities and all states and have never, outside the initial update after installation, had anywhere near 859 forms downloaded. I do downloads daily, if any are available by the red indicator or on opening the program. I don't recall even a number approaching 100 after that first update. It's usually been in the 10-30 range. YMMV
