13.4.1 install issue

There's a thread about this on the ATX Board. A user was told by support that this was "Server Install " issue ?

We're still running Windows XP. Naturally we have plenty of stability issues. But this morning was abnormally dysfunctional. One of our standalone workstations couldn't run ATX 2013 anymore. It appeared the update was applied, but the server service just vanished. The files were gone:

C:Program FilesCommon FilesCCH Small Firm ServicesATX 2013 Server*.*

... except for the file "local.config", and also the registry entry was gone:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesSfs.ServerHost.exe

I restored these files and registry entries from an identical machine that had successfully updated to 13.4.1, and the errant machine now works fine.

I think im going to hold off on this update until the next program update which should be in 24-36 hours as per the blog post.
