Jim K Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Does anyone know what debt code indicator letters "F" and "I" are for? I've got 2 clients whose federal ack's were approved, but have one of these codes on them. Student loan interest, child support, delinquent taxes, or?? Quote

The "F" code indicates Financial Management Service is collecting a debt and the "I" is the IRS debt. "F" codes are coming back for deliquent child support, unpaid fines, student loans, etc. Quote
