For those waiting to e-file

E-file this year is lightning fast! I hesitated to send any till Monday, but tested one out yesterday, went thru fast. Got all mine ready this AM, sent them and already have acceptance. I've never experienced an opening season like this!

I have had people become my clients because they have said, "H&R/Jackson/guy next door said, they could not file me until the 15th of next month. So I am going to use yu because you can file me sooner". and I smile and say OK.

So I wonder how many they saw this year on opening day vs last year on opening day.

I am still waiting for a couple days. At least until the Fee Collect issue is resolved. But thanks for the feedback.

I use TaxAct. I started e-filing over a week ago.....and I started getting acceptances last Monday....1/27.

You (and my wife) convinced me to plunge in. Sent out 18 returns last night at about 8:30PM. Had all the federal acks by 9:45PM.

Wholly cow. Is it possible that the IRS actually got it right this year? Maybe we should not start e-filing for another 2 weeks every year.

Still waiting for CA acks, but they will probably not get to them until Monday.

California is always slow opening week. When they finally get it together they also will come in fast. I usually have a few get hung up first week, but at least they are showing sent to agency, usually it's stuck on sent to EFC.
