MAMalody Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 How do you get the fixed asset worksheet to come up. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the 2106 and 4562 to no avail. This is on a rollover return. Quote
Dan Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 The fixed assets sheet rolled over from last year for me. I haven't checked but do you have to have for example a Schedule F or C open first? Quote
BulldogTom Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 When you click on the green arrow in the box for depreciation on the form, it should ask you if you want to get a fixed asset worksheet or go to the vehicle worksheet. That should bring up the fixed asset worksheet with the 4562. Tom Hollister, CA 1 Quote
MAMalody Posted January 29, 2014 Author Report Posted January 29, 2014 When I click on the green arrow in the depreciation box of the Sch C it just moves me to the Vehicle Expense worksheet of the Schedule C. Quote
BulldogTom Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 That is not how it is supposed to work. It is not how my software is behaving. There is something going on with your application. I think you will need support to work it out. Tom Hollister, CA Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Have you updated the program and forms? Quote
MAMalody Posted January 29, 2014 Author Report Posted January 29, 2014 Everything is update. It is interesting. I decided to try it on a return that has never had a Sch C and I then had the option of selecting the Fixed Asset worksheet. Hmmm. Quote
mcb39 Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I would delete the Sch C from the return if you can and then add a new one. Either that or close the entire return and the program and then reopen. Quote
MAMalody Posted January 30, 2014 Author Report Posted January 30, 2014 I tried both of those mcb39. Thanks for the idea. Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Duplicate the return and see if the bug is still there. If you do not have much work done, try rolling over from last year again. Quote
Pacun Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 I am stealing this answer as you can see from PART TWO of the same issue. I discarded form 4562 and saved. Then I open 4562 and it brought its little brother back. Quote
