Replace the battery in your cordless mouse. If that does not solve the problem, replace the mouse. What you are describing is know as "Spastic Mouse Syndrome." Quote
WITAXLADY Posted January 28, 2014 Author Report Posted January 28, 2014 well Jack - I was serious! You are being silly and I am not impressed! I don't have a cordless mouse...and it works well everywhere else! another explanation? Quote

I don't have a cordless mouse...and it works well everywhere else! another explanation? Change the mouse and see if the problem still exists. I am being serious. The only treatment for "spastic mouse" is replacement. There is a circuit board in the mouse that sends the signals to the computer. Possible switch failure or the circuit board has had a stroke. USB mouse is CHEAP. Quote
WITAXLADY Posted January 28, 2014 Author Report Posted January 28, 2014 OK JACK, my mouse is fine and the tax return works fine also... someone was having a bad day I guess! Thx Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Could be a symptom that your mouse is beginning to develop a problem, tho. I had that problem last year, and as the problem came and went, it took me a while to figure it out. Might want to consider buying a 'backup' mouse, just in case. 2 Quote
