I got an email from ATX that "one of the return that I sent to EFC could not be processed because of a submission ID that is longer than our system allowed." It then asked me to duplicate the return and resubmit it to EFC.

I have done what ATX asked me to do but I do not understand the message. it did not tell me what I did wrong and what do I need to do to prevent similar mishap from happening again.

I would appreciate any help in this area.

Thanks

The only thing that comes to my mind is that while working on the return you put a book on the keyboard and it typed extra numbers that were transmitted.
