neilbrink Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 In Payroll 2013, I have 1099 forms ready to be transmitted to EFC for efile, but when I hit the transmit button, I get this message. Anyone else having the same problem? Any suggestions? Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 I do not e-file 1099s till third week of Feb. to allow time for errors to be corrected simply. Therefore, I have not tried transmitting. Give yourself time. I am not sure when ATX will start accepting them, or if there is date restriction for filing. 2 Quote

Wednesday, January 22, 2014 Payroll program: errors efiling 1099s and 94x returns Scenario: some users have been unable to efile these returns at all. You receive an error during the transmission attempt "Failed to connect to an EFC Server" Solution: We are updating the Payroll product tomorrow.
