giogis245 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Hello everyone, I used ATX 2011 and 2012. I am also using it now in 2013, I actually had to buy a new computer because my old computer did not meet the 2013 system requirements. I exported 2012 to a removable disk to import to 2013 and I am getting a error message "Export file was created by a different program version and cannot be imported", someone please help me! How do I get all my previous returns in 2013??? THANK YOU! Quote
grmy2h Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 You need to load 2012 program into new computer and import, then roll to 2013. Quote
ILLMAS Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 It will be impossible to import from 2012 to 2013, how about trying to rollover a return. Quote

How do I get all my previous returns in 2013??? THANK YOU! First you have to install 2012 on the new computer. I recommend that you download it from the web page. Then you import your returns into the 2012 program. Install the 2013 program to new computer following directions carefully. Open 2013 and import your returns into the 2013 program. Quote

mcb39 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Change the word import to rollover. I stand corrected. Had a senior moment there. Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 giogis245, just to be totally clear, you have to have the 2012 program on the same machine as the 2013 program, before you can rollover the 2012 returns to the new program. You can not do it from the flash drive. Quote
