imjulier Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 I noted in using the 2013 payroll program that the 940/941 EF info form is not available. The ATX website does not have any information on this form. Anyone know when it will be available or followed up on this in any way? Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 Last I heard the 940/941 efile would be available on or around 1/26. Quote
windmill Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 I just downloaded the 94x EF file form, but got a message that the 941 is not approved.. Are you finding the same? Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Prior quarters (2012 and 2013) the 941/940 efile PIN was a 10-digit number. For the 4th Quarter 2013 the worksheet is asking for a 5-DIGIT PIN. When did the IRS change that? Or is that a program glitch? Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Found the answer to my question on the ATX Community Board - ".....because we pursued the MeF implementation of 94x this year, it's a lot closer to filing any other business or 1040 return. The 10-digit "LOI" pin is no more, and instead you can self-select one (or continue to use the Reporting Agent, IRS-assigned 5-digit PIN, if you so choose)." Thanks! ATXJosh 1 Quote
joanmcq Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 And efile is up & running for 940s & 941s. Just submitted mine. Quote
