looking for new trial balance, fin stmt software

I have been using Creative Solutions but looking for a change. This is for clients that maintain there own G/L. I need to enter their balances, make adjustments and generate financial statements

Nope and I. Even tried to get a demo from ATX but after downloading the demo they sent, turns out it was a Max demo....i give up on them

Back in the day we would use this software called Fast Advantage, who know if it's still alive?

CFS Tax Tools has trial balance and financial statements.

I know KC but after last years debacle and after them sending me the wrong demo yesterday I am sooooo gun shy from using anything from ATX.

I can stay with Creative solutions but there statements are so hard to twick for rounding errors, etc.

I can't find a program from cfs?

Also have you considered using Quickbooks? I have used it a couple of times to create a TB and financials, very simple to use, you can export data in excel to cross reference to your workpapers. Also, any version of QB works for this, you don't need the latest version.

I Need a real trial balance program, with journal entries, tax entries, reclassifying entries, prior year, month etc

I don't think qb will handle it. Engagement and Creative Solutions are both Thomson Reuters companies and I would love someone else.

I have been using Accountants World for Client Writeup and Financial Statements for 2 years.

I know it has the trial balance features you're looking for, but I don't use them very much.

I'm fairly happy with what I use it for. Their support is average at best.

FYI: They hired Jeff Gramlich as President after he left ATX ???

I use ProSystem fx and know they have a program, but I don't use it. If you are trying to get away from TR, then try CCH, but upgrade to the modules in the ProSystem fx suite. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I haven't added anything like that for my small practice.
