Don in Upstate NY Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Just completed my first Illinois e-file for this season (I live in NY). Passed the error check with no problem. Created the e-files (Federal and Illinois piggy-back) no problem. Went to print out the signature forms to send to the client for signing -- there was no Illinois form! I had forgotten to explicitly include the IL-8453, and the program not only didn't automatically include it - it didn't catch the error. That seems like a pretty basic error to miss. Quote
kcjenkins Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 That really is strange. I've never been able to create a state efile without the return including all the efile forms needed. In fact, if it is not there, it has a warning and it has a button to click on to add the forms. KC Quote
