MN State Refund from prior year

Didn't the state refunds automatically roll over from prior year in the 2006 program if the people itemized? Does any MN preparers recall?

They did...This you you have to have the 1099-G in the return (even though the clients don't get a 1099-G. I had to put a St Paul zip code in the 1099-G also to make it work. (I used 55175 which is on Unemployment form.) Pain in the ...but doubt they could make it easier, and I am too busy anyway.
