Philip1117 Posted December 28, 2013 Report Posted December 28, 2013 Some of my workstations don't see any returns in the rollover manager. When you browse to the computer acting as the server and where the 2012 and 2103 programs are installed it says you don't have permission. Some computers do see the returns in the rollover manager and some don't yet they all connect to the 2013 server and can see and open returns rolled over by others. Server is brand new I5 win pro all workstations are win 7 pro. Any suggestions? Phil Quote
Pacun Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 For testing, make a user of a workstation admin to the server. If that solves your problem, then you know it is a permissions issues. Remove the user from the admin group and give him permissions. You have to give share permissions to the folder and also you have to give access permission to the folder. Keep in mind that you will need two kinds of permissions and that making the user admin makes him the king of the server and has access to everything, locally or remotely. Quote
