Is Brookhaven OIC center furloughed?

Is the Brookhaven OIC office closed during the slimdown? I have an offer in that the agent asked for documentation by a certain date. I provided the requested documents, but I have not heard back. Made a call to the agent's direct line and got a generic "I am on the phone or away from my office" answering machine. I left a message.

Just wondering if anyone knows the status of this IRS unit.
