Guest Taxed Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 There are little things you can do to have the staff take better care of your relatives. Like Christmas gifts, birthdays, the occasional lunch or dinner, movie tickets etc etc. Does not have to cost a lot but once the care giver feels that you are appreciative of them you will see the difference. Many years back I went to dinner with a very smart man and the first thing he did after being seated at the restaurant is slip a $10 bill into the hands of the waitress and say, please recommend what is the absolute best item on the menu, we want you to make this a memorable moment for us. Guess what, we got the best service by tipping in advance. Quote
