Here is a recipie our family tried for Memorial day cookout and everyone enjoyed it. It has a slight kick to it. Try and enjoy!

Ingredients

1 lb of Ground Beef 80/20
4 Scallions, finely chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic finely chopped
2 Tbsp of Cilantro finely chopped
1 Jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
1 tsp of Ground Cumin
1 tsp of Chili Powder
1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh mint leaves
2 Tbsp melted butter

Salt and Pepper, To Taste

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and make 4 to 6 patties. Put them in the fridge for a few hours to firm up.

Grill for 4 to 6 minutes high heat each side for well done.

¼ lb of Pepper Jack Cheese or sharp Chedder sliced, 1 large onion sliced , 1 large tomato sliced, half a head of lettuce shredded, Relish or sweet pickles.

Sounds delicioso! But I would probably leave the seeds in the jalapeños.

When we went to a Sam's Club in Mexico, we saw boxes of hamburger patties with bacon already mixed in. Sounded good, but we really didn't need a box of 60 patties.

Then, there's the Sonoran hot dogs -- hot dogs wrapped in bacon. Just watch the arteries clog as you enjoy them! (OK, you can get something similar at Weinerschnizel. They call it a Street Dog.)

Sure if you want to kick it up a notch, keep the seeds in the Jalapenos!

If you like it milder reduce the chilli powder and for those who hate garlic smell you can skip that.

I made another batch and froze them wrapped in wax paper for later use.

My friend suggested to add salsa instead of onions and pickles. I got to try that next.
