efile reject message

In one of my subchapter S retrun filed, the error message is saying

The IRS Submission ID referenced in the State Submission Manifest must be present in the e-file database.

Does anybody know what this message mean.

I am using ATX max program.

Did you unlink the Fed and state e-file as directed by CCH? Never saw that reject code but it appears that one efile is referencing the other? What is the actual reject code number?

Unlinking the Fed and State will solve the problem. You do that on the State e-file info page way at the top. There is a box to check.
