One week-one day-and today

Thirty three years of doing the same thing, and I still get excited at season end.

Yes, I have always said that it is like being pushed off a bridge. Fortunately, I have a part-time job to go back to for a week in May which helps with the transition to "normal life".

One week for me.

I plan to have all extensions in place next Friday the 12th.

Office will be closed from then until Apr 22 - goin' to the beach for a week.

(A getaway does wonders for the "letdown" thing...)

Once the celebratory hang-over goes away, I find myself wondering what to do with my free time....then I look around at all of the things I have neglected for 3 months....and I get another drink.

Wife already has a honey do list on the fridge. April 16th the tool box comes out instead of pub 17! First task is to get an oil change on the cars and good washing.
