ILLMAS Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 It seems Americans enjoy coffee made out of snow. http://youtu.be/0VgW8lyCkaU 1 Quote
JohnH Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 We're only supposed to drink one cup of snow coffee per day. I think I exceeded my weekly quota before lunchtime. OH, I do hope the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will send a film crew my way with REAL coffee. Quote
NECPA in NEBRASKA Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I had to eat all of the finches at our feeder today before my husband got them. Our snow melted so I couldn't have any coffee today and am really crabby. 1 Quote
JohnH Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Do you think the thought ever crossed the translator's mind that maybe they were actually secretly auditioning him for a Monty Python skit? Quote
Elrod Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Did ya see me in the railway station?.....It's where the best snow coffee, is. Quote
joanmcq Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 This must be something in the news that I haven't caught. Can someone post a link? Quote
joanmcq Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 It didn't pop up on my iPad the first time. There's no snow here, I am extremely deprived! How will I make my coffee? Quote
jklcpa Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Where did they film those really old pay telephones? Do pay telephones even still exist? lol Joan, you will have to save rain water to make coffee. How many cups per year will that allow you? Quote
joanmcq Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 I can get a lot during the winter, but I'll run low by extension season. I'll be uncaffienated unless import some snow. In a plastic cup, I guess. Those didn't look like any pay phones I've ever seen. Maybe they're in one of those areas that tries to look like a European city? Quote
ILLMAS Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Posted April 3, 2013 Maybe they misinterpreted a cup of Joe with a cup of snow? Quote
Kea Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Humm, Snopes (and a few others in my Google search) said it was a joke. But that's kinda how I took it anyway. I did find it humorous. http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/northkorea.asp Quote
