Where in ATX do you input the sales tax on a vehicle, to be an added deduction?

I don't think that is allowed any longer since maybe 1986 unless it's part of the general sales taxes and lower than income taxes. Check to be sure that vehicles qualify as added tax, I don't recall.

Put the amount on the detail sheet for sales tax, way down on the bottom, after the calculation of the state & local sales taxes. There is no longer the separate deduction for sales taxes on new vehicles; you need to add it to the regular sales tax calculation.
