Lee B Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 Yes, it's possible. Have you excluded the recommended files from your anitivirus program scans? Quote

joanmcq Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 Have you excluded the ATX .exe files from your antivirus? If your antivirus is preventing ATX from accessing what it needs to, you'll get these symptoms. Quote
kampson Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 Yes have followed instructions and virus software is not blocking. Software is updating etc Quote
kampson Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 Error msg is related to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896010. Based in reading there may be a fix via microsoft but so far they want to charge me $100 just to remote and look at computer etc. Quote
kampson Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 No luck with fix yet. If someone knows potential fix please post. Have not be able to get through to ATX to troubleshoot. Quote
Lee B Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 Are you sure? This link refers to Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1. My understanding was that when we installed the ATX 2012 Program we also installed Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 ? Quote
kampson Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 Used that as general reference. Doing net framework 4.0 update now. Will see what happens. Quote
kampson Posted March 15, 2013 Author Report Posted March 15, 2013 Did some more research and found that fix was to manually run Windows update Go to optional updates and updated net Framework. Did version 1.1 and a few others. Fixed E-file issue. Next will be running optional version 4.0 updates as some have said speeds up load times etc. Yea!!! Quote
