kcjenkins Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 Well, friends, I had the surgery yesterday, and it was good news all around. The cancer was isolated and had not spread, so it's all out now, and a full recovery is expected. They were able to do the robotic procedure so my recovery should be fairly rapid. I want to thank you all for your prayers, which I am convinced helped me a lot. Only thing bad right now is that laughing hurts! And you know how much I like adding a good laugh to my day, especially this time of year. 2 Quote

kcjenkins Posted February 23, 2013 Author Report Posted February 23, 2013 Thank you all so much. I'm feeling pretty good, all things considered Trying to follow all the rules, deep breathing, etc. I find it really amazing how they can do major surgery with such tiny incisions. I'm happy about it though. It's a great way to do it. Quote
kcjenkins Posted March 1, 2013 Author Report Posted March 1, 2013 Had my Post-Op yesterday, and it was all good. No need for any chemo or radiation, next appointment will be 8 MONTHS away, I'm feeling good, practically back to normal. It's incredible what they can do these days! 6 Quote
