NT - But good for a laugh today.. Turbo Tax Story

Man called today... wanted to know if I could prepare his return using Turbo Tax.

He said Turbo Tax always gets him 2,000.00 refund on his taxes.

I explained that it's not the software it's the information you put into the software that creates the refund, and would come out the same if done on my professional

tax software. Could not get him to understand that it isn't Turbo Tax that is getting him that refund.

Then he asked if I knew anyone else who uses Turbo Tax...

I told him I have a friend that uses the professional version of Turbo Tax (proseries) and he said

Good, give me her phone #..

So I did..

Hope she's still speaking to me!
