paulztaxes Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 So I couldn't open previously completed returns, searched the forum and ended downloading the 12.9 hotfix. It solved that problem but now it seems to have a problem establishing an internet connection...My internet is up and running but when the program loads it says it cant update because we are not connected to the internet. I am going to try and fix this issue today but figured I would see if anyone else has had an issue after the 12.9 update with their internet connection? Quote
paulztaxes Posted February 17, 2013 Author Report Posted February 17, 2013 Figured out the problem...when installing the update I didnt disable my antivirus so I went in Norton and opened up the App Permissions to connect to internet. ATX files were listed as "Auto" so I changed them to "Allow" and it seemed to fix my problem. If anyone else had this issue I hope this helps Quote

If anyone else had this issue I hope this helps I stopped using Norton 5 years ago because if it's intrusive, hogish and "gets in the way of everything" nature. Second reason was the exhorbitent price they charge. Kaspersky. The Anti-Virus king on my computers and the firm's network. Quote
