efile reject message

I still do not have this resolved. I have deleted and refiled 12 times now. Here is the latest Reject code description:

"The XML data has failed schema validation. cvc.complex-type.2.4.d. Invalid content was found starting with element 'Explanation'. No child element is expected at this point." "/efile:Return{1}/efile:ReturnData{1}/efile:DepreciationComputation{1}/efile:Explanation{2} Value:

Any ideas?

*make sure program is updated and all forms are updated.

*verify that all boxes are checked that are required and non are checked that should not be.

*use "restore field" for any fields that you might have deleted info in.

*if nothing else works, I have had to discard some forms and then reload them.

some other ideas:

*walk around your chair counter-clockwise three times.

*hold your breath for the entire time it takes ATX to open the return.

*call ATX customer support with your only open phone line. That way no one can call asking "when will my refund be here" for at least 6 hours.

DOES it have deprec, in the return? code says something about deprec. you can't file 4562 yet

The depreciation is in the "Business use of home" form. I had thought of that also. May have to wait until they get the depreciation form worked out.

Depreciation form 4562 IS available to efile. The IRS began accepting the form feb 10 th

But ATX doesn't have it.

I efiled a home office with depreciation and it was accepted on 1-31. No 4562 obviously.

I am happy to report that this issue has been resolved!! Efile is now accepted.
