Chowdahead Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 I have been getting several Federal E-File rejections which have garbled text. It seems to me like it's a technical problem with the e-file itself and not with the actual tax return. Usually, a rejection error will be straight forward like dependent name and ssn do not match. But this year I have seen a number of rejects that just come back with a bunch of coding that makes no sense to me. My only choice is to re-create it and re-send because I don't know what's wrong and I don't have 2 hours to spend to get through to ATX to troubleshoot the issue. Has anyone else here run into any returns with a problem like this? Quote
SCL Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 reg atx board...search imataxman's post #118251. you have to go to atx efile center and follow the trail. i believe you will find a specfic reference to your problem. most of the problems have to do with glitches in or blank input forms...w2s, 1099s. there are other reasons for the efile rejections. 1 Quote
