Colleen Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 I just wanted to let everybody know that as of the .27 release, excess Social Security wages are being calculated on the 2011 limit of $106,800 instead of the 2012 limit of $110,100. This means that the excess S.S. wages are going to be off by up to $138 per person. I also like how none of their support staff are trained to decipher the rejection codes. I called in yesterday and was told that "It's like reading Chinese" and that I should call the IRS. What do I need them for? I changed to Drake. It's a lot more money, but it's worth the piece of mind. Quote
Terry D EA Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Well there you go, one more snafu to add to the pot of trouble with TRX. I guess someone forgot to update the calculation to the new limit. Glad you changed software and yes peace of mind is definitely worth something. Quote
mrichman333 Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 I would had problems with wrong calculations also. I would not use TRX, just can not trust the program. Incorrect caculations will come back to me and reallt P-off my clients. Quote
